A bold Day of the Dead celebration delivered within a live construction site in the heart of Camden. Combining immersive design with complex logistics, this event transformed an unfinished building into a vibrant and unforgettable experience.
Challenging Environments
Commissioned by W.RE to showcase their £101 million development during construction, the brief was to create a fully realised event within an active building site. Working closely with principal contractor BAM Nuttall, we developed a carefully planned approach that balanced safety, logistics and creative ambition at every stage.
Guests were guided through the live site before entering a dramatically transformed event space, where immersive set design, staging, rigging and lighting brought a vibrant Day of the Dead celebration to life. In just four days, a raw, industrial floor was reimagined into a high-impact environment that exceeded expectations.
Experience & Production
The event featured a striking half-round stage, hosting a live all-female Mariachi band alongside a DJ, supported by full technical production. Tequila bars, theatrical props, curated cocktails and exceptional catering from Mestizo combined to create a rich, energetic atmosphere, while sensitive installation ensured the integrity of the unfinished space was maintained throughout.
Delivery
From concept and engineering through to build, production and live delivery, every aspect of the event was managed by our in-house team. This fully integrated approach ensured complete control across all elements, allowing us to deliver a complex, high-risk project with confidence while creating a bold and memorable experience for every guest.
